-October 2007 Pictures-
October 6 & 7 was General Conference and we went to Snowflake to watch Conference with my family and help them work on the flooring in their house.
On the 10, 11, 12, & 15 I was babysitting ALL day. I had to be at their house at 7 AM and stay with the kids until 6 PM. Not that I can't handle working all day, but 11 hours is a bit much. So Halle spent a lot of time with Grandma Goodman on those days. On the 12, I took Halle with me to work and we all went to the zoo. Halle cried at first but then she got the hang of it and realized it was fun. She loved the petting zoo and the carousel. She threw a fit when it was time to leave.

On the night of the 12th, we went camping with Jason's family. We went to bulldog canyon and set up tents and stayed the night on Friday. Saturday morning, we got up and rode 4 wheelers and the golf cart, had some breakfast, and bees took over our camp. We tried to set up the sandwich stuff for lunch and bees were everywhere. Halle even got stung on the forehead. We were planning on staying out there for dinner, but we couldn't get away from the bees. So we all left at about 2:00.

On the 19th, we went to see Collective Soul in concert at the state fair. Going to the state fair has been one of our traditions since we were dating. This was our 6th time going to the fair together. Our first date was at the state fair in 1999.
On the 20th, my family came down from Snowflake so that my sisters could go to the state fair together for the Rihanna concert.

The 26, 27, 28 & 29 were also really busy. On the 26th, I picked up Rocky & Nora at 4:00 PM and that evening we went to a Harvest Festival at their school and Jason met us over there. Then they stayed the night at our house while their parents were in L.A. for a Bruce Sprinsteen concert. They spent all day with us on Saturday, shopping, watching movies, making cookies, and riding the golf cart. Their mom came to pick them up at 10:00 PM.

On the 28 & 29, it was the annual hair show again. Emma is in cosmetology so she got us tickets. I didn't go on Sunday, but I went on Monday and bought a bunch of cool stuff. It was fun to spend time with Emma. Halle went shopping with Grandma B while we were at the hair show.
For family home evening on the 29, we carved our pumpkin for Halloween.

Halle the "Snowflake Princess", during the day on Halloween.

Wow girl! It really does sound like your busy! Looks like you guys are having fun though! I can't believe how big Halle is looking! She is so cute!
Hey I need a job. Do you know of anything?????
Oh, Halle is so cute as a ballerina!
Sounds like you guys had a fun month.
Drew took Sy to the state fair on Friday for the Demolition Derby. I stayed home with Vin since I knew it would be REALLY loud and lot of smoke. I would have liked to have gone otherwise.
Thanks for coming to Sy's party. It was great to have you guys there. I totally forgot I had party bags to send home. So we took a few to the neighbors. Then Sy said "There is one left mom, it's for Halle." I told him we'd have to give it to her later. He said "No mom, lets just walk there now, she'll be sad if she doesn't get her bag from me." I told him it was too far and we'll have to drive another day. He proceeded to go on "But mom, lets just get in the car and take it to her, we'll get there fast, fast in the car."
I just thought it was so sweet.
(P.S. sorry we forgot to give her the bag)
