Hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day! Ours was good overall, but there were some parts of it that were not very fun.
Halle & I met my sister, Hillary for lunch at Sweet Cakes on Main & Center in Mesa. Hillary used to work there and they have the best cookies and brownies and sandwiches so we wanted to get cookies & brownies for our guys for Valentine's Day.
Halle is usually really grumpy whenever she is at a restaurant. I don't know if she is afraid of crowds or what. But she was actually just being sweet and sitting in her chair for once.



And then she decided to turn around and stand up in her chair. I noticed it and started to reach for her to turn her around. But her chair started tipping backwards at about the same speed my hand was reaching for her. And she fell on her face. She was screaming and I picked her up and everyone was staring and then blood started dripping on my white shirt and all over her. So I took her to the bathroom and cleaned her up and luckily she didn't lose any teeth, but she got a really fat lip.




Other than that, the day was pretty good. Jason grilled steaks and vegetables for dinner and we watched a movie. He bought me flowers and chocolate and diamond earrings. :)


Halle got some skittles and a toy giraffe, but she really didn't want me to take a picture of it.


BIG NEWS:
***I am starting a new job! It is a little scary, because I have been a nanny for the same family for over 3 years! I started working for them when I was pregnant with Halle and the girls were just 6 & 2 and now they are 9 & 5! So it was a really big decision, but I think it is for the best. My new job is only about half as far. And it will be about the same hours every week, but only 2-3 days a week instead of 4-5. I will also get to work in the mornings sometimes and be able to have the afternoon off instead of working until 6:30 or 7 every evening. And I will still be able to see the girls I used to watch once in a while. So it is a big change but we are excited. No more driving to Tempe/Chandler/Ahwatukee every day!

***My little sister, Emma, is turning 18! Yay!
***Hillary & Tyler are getting married in a little over a month!
***Adree gets to find out on Tuesday if she is having a boy or a girl!
***Halle is now mostly potty trained and is sleeping in a toddler bed! I have almost achieved my New Year's resolutions!
