Pray for our new President

In Relief Society yesterday, a sister shared an experience she had when she had mentioned to someone that we should all pray for our new President. She got a response like "Why would I pray for him?". Whether we voted for him or not, he is going to be the President of the United States of America and we need him to be able to make the right decisions and changes that need to be made to improve our country.
Instead of being afraid of the future, we need to have faith and know that Heavenly Father will help us through it and that everything happens for a reason.

My thoughts exactly.

I just think we need to trust in our Heavenly Father and rely on him fully, and do what we're supposed to, . . . and everything will be ok.

Even if we didn't vote for him doesn't mean he isn't our president. He will be our President and needs all the prayers he can get.
