Where did January go? We have been really busy but haven't had any news for the blog. I'm not too happy about the news I got this morning that we are going to have 6 more weeks of winter! Haha.
Halle & Evve are doing great. Evve loves to watch Halle and laugh at her. Halle hasn't seemed jealous of Evve at all, which was pretty surprising. I guess it is because of the 4-year gap, she seems more protective than competetive. It's great.
Halle is doing great with learning her letters and numbers. I think she will be able to at least write her name before she starts school in August. I'm glad she is picking it up so easily. I was pretty stressed out that she couldn't go to preschool (too expensive!) and that I was going to have to teach her myself.
Halle keeps telling me (and everyone else) that we need to have a baby boy now! haha. I tell her that when Evve gets bigger maybe we will have a boy. It seems crazy that so many people I know are DONE having kids and I still want 1 (or maybe 2) more!
Evve is trying to sit up by herself but she still falls over sometimes. She smiles and laughs a lot and has this new squeaky talking that she does when she's happy. I can't believe she will be 6 months on the 14th!
My best friend, Adree, had her second baby on 1/26 and she is a pretty little girl named Aimee. Congrats Adree & Brenton!
Sunday was my grandpa's birthday and we went with my mom to meet them in Payson for lunch. It was fun. He was actually being nice. Haha.

That is so great that Halle is protective of Evve instead of more needy or something. I think that since my kids are all so close I wouldn't be able to even know if someone was jealous-j/k. I haven't had to deal with that yet. Hopefully never right?!

I know how you feel about teaching yourself instead of preschool! I often wonder if I have done enough to help Brodee be ready for school this fall. I had to laugh about your comment on your Grandpa, I so remember!
